Data-Forge Notebook is installed on Windows through a self-executing installer.

You can install it on a fresh PC or you can install it over a previous copy of Data-Forge Notebook v2.

After downloading the Data-Forge Notebook installer it should appear in your downloads directory like this:

That screenshot shows version 1.9.0, although the version you have downloaded should be version 2 or greater.

Double click the installer to start the install process.

While installing you might see a window like this:

If so, please click More info. And then click Run anyway:

While installing it looks like this:

When installation has completed Data-Forge Notebook will automatically start up.

If this is your first time installing Data-Forge Notebook you'll now arrive at the setup screen.

Otherwise, if you have previously installed Data-Forge Notebook it is already setup and you should now see the welcome screen:
